i've lately wondered why people ask you the following question whenever you run into them: "how are you ?"

i hate it! i really do...especially when the question is coming from a person you barely know. the reason why, is because i'm normally a very honest kind of person...so if i have a bad day, i have a bad day. but that bad day isn't necessarily something i wanna share with everyone i happen to bump into during my bad day. that's also why i try to stay indoor and away from people during these days...but sometimes it's just not something you can control yourself...and when it's that way...you bump in to people who ask you the much hated question...and all you can do is to put on a smile that doesn't seem fake and answer: "I'm fine!" without any further comments, when you on the same time use all your energy not to start talking about how you are actually feeling... 'cause the person doesn't really care...does he/she ? it's clearly a way to try and start a conversation...but when you aren't honest about your condition...why even bother to continue the conversation??

it's okay whenever a person who knows me well...a close friend ask...they can ask me whenever, and i'll give them an honest answer.
