what to expect? and when is it too much?
2009-09-22 | 11:03 p.m.

yet another flles studiestart festival is over. it was the third year of co-organizing. this year i once again was in charge of the music...and once again it went through almost without any problems. actually...this year i finally lived up to every little thing the musicians demanded...the only things that didn't go smooth were things only they could solve and it was things that wasn't up to me. but all in all it went well despite a few technical problems. well...at least on the musical site of the event...

4 days ago i talked with one of the members of the committee that was suppose to arrange and get through the programme on the day...but she expected to have a night at home this very friday...whaaaat?!?!?! i haven't been so angry and so disappointed since i don't know when...! i mean...you don't say yes to join a committee that arrange this event...and then a couple of days before it all goes off, runs away from your responsibility?!? cowards!!

all this meant that the usual people at klostret (people who have spent incredibly much time and energy the past month on that place) had to work even harder, just so the cowards from the committee could go around and mingle with their friends and have fun (they didn't go home before 9 or 10 pm anyways) while i and the before mentioned hard working people could run around and make sure it all went through as it should...and every time we met people we knew, we only had time to stop up for a few seconds just to tell them that we were too busy to talk....later...

i myself was in a constant dilemma about when i'd applied to the bands one time too many or not. i think i did okay...but have a strange feeling that i did my job way too good...meaning that i might have seemed too eager. but it was because i was happy, and didn't want any misunderstandings to happen. well...i don't think they minded that much when it comes to the end.

the most important things were that the audience and the bands were happy and satisfied...which it seems they all were. so...i am also happy for this last flles studiestart festival have gone well despite the above mentioned intern problems...

here's some of my snapshot from a night that makes me smile:
