i've had a nice day, though i've been home alone. i baked a carrot cake this morning which my mother took with her down to her friend in her friends holiday cottage. and i stayed home watching live8. so that what's my day have gone with. happy people in the television, listening, singing and dancing to all kinds of music. the highlights were many;
paul mccartney (of course)
pink floyd
stevie wonder
muse
robbie williams
madonna
coldplay and richard ashcroft
elton john
and some italians playing the beautiful song "everybody's gotta learn sometime"
oh...and believe it or not....i actually thought green day did a pretty good job. i'm not very much in to their music. but damn they kicked ass! too bad we didn't get to see anything of placebo. i would have enjoyed that though.
