magnolia electric co feat. songs ohia and salley gardens at pitstop yesterday evening at a club modstrm arrangement, went better than most of the club modstrm arrangements do. though salley gardens is a local name, they were not the ones people came to see. i saw two elderly men playing their air guitars to magnolia electric co, just like they knew it to their inner bones. speaking of elderly men...the average age of the crowd were pretty high. most of them could have been my parents. stefan told me that most of the crowd were non-local people. some even from hamburg (!!). i met charlotte and her friend mette down there. and had a chat with karoline, the leadsinger from salley gardens...i think she's my new friend. she invited me to her house some time in 2 weeks. all in all a very cosy night, with a great atmosphere and lovely people. mmm. though i did not meet ulf as i hoped. and daniel simply never turned up. hmm.

today i've spent most of my wakening hours to read some more chapters in george martin's book, "all you need is ears". one of them was about the making of sgt. pepper record. afterwards i put on the record and discovered all the funny little things and effects george martin told about. very interesting if you ask me.

i haven't been as bored today actually. i think i'm getting better to figure out things to do. though they mostly don't have anything to do with those things i was suppose to do. but as long as i'm having fun and time run without notice, i guess it's ok.

i just noticed....it's a long time since i've last told you which records/DVD's i've bought. so i'll try to make a list with those i've bought since last time here (i don't think i remember them all):
