i accidentally touched my head
2006-05-14 | 8:39 p.m.

the trip up there yesterday was really absurd. the train stopped in vejle and they told us to change carriage because of technical difficulties. so we had to get out and go down at the platform to find the carriage we had to be on. but before we found our carriage, we found a man lying down. his legs was on the platform and the rest of him in the train at the stairs. he looked very confused, scared and couldn't get up. carl erik ran to him, helped him out of the train, looked at the back of his head. he was bleeding. very much. there was a lot of blood on the stairs. some more people rushed to help carl erik to hold him while he called an ambulance. i ran to the people from dsb (the train service) to find out which carriage we were going with and to tell them about the old man bleeding. they called an ambulance too. and we all stayed around 'till the ambulance arrived. they hold the train for us. so it was 20 minutes late. they moved people from the train to a regional train, so they could go on with their travel. heh. the funny thing is, that we arrived in rhus before them anyway. what an experience.

we finally arrived to rhus. only 20 minutes late. we went down to voxhall. bought a beer. got up to the edge of the stage and sad down. we didn't sit for long before howie beck entered the stage. he was the opening act. a nice down to earth guy playing some nice music. being funny. getting people to clap and a guy to run amuck with a shaker. haha.

afterwards we sad on the stage again. carl erik went to the toilet. and two people came up to me. they were about to take in carl erik's place. i told them not to. and before i knew of it, we were talking. right before carl erik returned i found out that they were from kolding as well. tore and heidi i think were their names. haha. great i can't remember it. but very kind people.

shortly after josh rouse finally entered the stage. he started out having some problems with the microphone and expressing how disappointed he was that a hi-tech country as denmark couldn't even make sure that the microphone was working properly. and during the first numbers he looked very angry down to the sound engineer because he wasn't happy about the sound. what a bitter man. happily it got better as the concert went on. he got howie beck back on stage to join him in a couple of songs. in the encore he was about to play "love vibration" when he wanted a girl to the stage to sing along with him. he wanted the girl standing right next to me but she was too shy. so it ended up with a guy and three girls instead. but the energy peaked in that song. wow. it was great. mmm. all in all an ok concert. could've been better if he'd tried harder. so demanding i am. heh.

afterwards he and howie came out to sign cd's. i normally avoid that kind of things. but yesterday i went up there with my four (!) records of him and got them signed. he started with opening the first cd and out fell my cd by teitur. haha. he looked wondering at it and then at me. i told him that his cd was home in my stereo. and that he should give teitur a listen. he said ok. he acted kind of reserved....

then we (carl erik, heidi, tore, kre and me) went to a caf and sad there waiting for the train. it was cosy. it was a caf playing all the classic songs from the 90's. very nice. finally around 2am it was time to catch our train. when we arrived to kolding we wanted to take a cab but there wasn't any. so we begged the doorman at pitstop to let us in for free. we did. and i met a very drunk ibu (hehe), marlene, simone, ken, ren, rune, daniel, lynge, vinkel, ren and anne. carl erik found his date. i got bored. so he felt bad about me just sitting there wanting to go home and gave me some money for a cab so i could arrive home safely. lovely guy.

what a night....slept most of the day today.
