i saw a man in the television once who'd tried to die. he was talking about how simple it is to die. about how everything disappears just like that. and there was nothing to fear. it reminded me of this friend (i think) i have that talked about not fearing death and disappearing and so on. which scared me a bit. it also reminded me of the flight home from gran canaria almost two years ago during this hurricane and we had to make a forced landing in the violent wind...i've never been so scared in my whole life. maybe except from when the firework factory went off a couple of months before near my home. but it made me think...why are you so scared of dying?! basically there's nothing to fear. you'll just disappear...right? out of sight out of mind as they say. so if you die not only your memories will die with you. also the people who cares about you (if you're that lucky to have some around you!) will forget you sooner or later. that's a fact. people forget. well not forgetting completely, people just seem to find another way to continue life without you in it. just like capsized relationships. though it can take some time, people get over it and goes on sooner or later. are you scared because you're afraid that you forgot to express something to someone?! if you die...it will die with you...
