as a street team member of josh ritter's street team i think i'm supposed to draw people's attention to the release of his fifth album (although it hasn't really been released anywhere yet...but hey...it's good to be prepared!). but as the ignoramus i've been lately when it comes to him and his music, i feel it's my duty somehow to do this. so i've been taking my time listening to the album today, and i must say it sounds a bit different than his last album. i wasn't too fond of his last album. don't know what it was. but this one sounds different in the good way 'cause it's like it's a mix of his last album and all the old great albums, which is a good mix.

by the way i think it's somehow hilarious that the intro to "mind's eye" sounds like a clash song, especially when thinking his biggest inspirations are johnny cash and bob dylan. but hey...go listen listen listen go go go!
