isn't it unbelievable how music can infect your life?! how a certain line can bring up memories in your mind... or how a certain voice can bring up certain moods, nausea or even tears...

i experienced that earlier today when i ran around in my apartment cleaning and listening to such lovely records as "here be monsters" by ed harcourt and "suddenly one summer" by j.k. & co., when one of my neighbours turned up the volume on a song i believe was by regina spektor...at least the voice sounded pretty much like her...and that brought up some memories and things i'd rather not think too much about anymore. i'm afraid i might never be able to listen to her again without any kind of consequences...

in some ways i hate that music can be so attached to certain feelings and experiences in your life...but on the same time, that's the beauty of it.

anyway...i've had a pretty good day. it started out with me getting the things just the way i wanted at a meeting. afterwards me and siff went to her place drinking a beer, eating some grapes and talking. very cosy. it's gonna be nice moving down there in a couple of months.
