i'm an expert in delaying tactics when it comes to write an examination assignment. who isn't?! hehe. but this latest delaying tactic has been to find the 10 best songs of the year on this site. there are soooo many songs nominated that it was really difficult to choose. but it ended up with this list:

ben kweller - penny on the train track
ben kweller - i gotta move
ben kweller - i don't know why
malcolm middleton - a brighter beat
jarvis - don't let him waste your time
the shins - australia
decemberists - the crane wife
beirut - a sunday smile
regina spektor - samson
junior senior - can i get get get

the reason why the first three are all ben kweller songs is because i found the site through his board where he himself has asked his fans to vote for the same song. i quote:
"we should all vote for the same song to make an impact. �i say penny! �what do you guys think?"
which i think is a bit funny. hehe. of course it would have looked a bit different if it wasn't for ben. like this for example:
