i'm in a period where i'm somehow taking some kind of exception from the singer/songwriter genre which i've been so fond of earlier on...don't know what's happening...just think i needed some new inspiration. but but but...just as i thought i was on my way, astrid recommended this fella to me:

fionn regan - put a penny in the slot

and once again i found myself in the middle of the folk / singer/songwriter scene i've been taking exception from lately. heh. fionn is great...he sounds a bit like teitur and ryan adams in the same person. which isn't bad. astrid said he sounded like nick drake...but i'm not too sure about that one. so i'm cultivating what i'm always cultivating because of astrid but still swear by my newly discovered musical era...n o t h e r n s o u l. hallelujah!
