i've been very absorbed into music lately (surprise surprise!). but i'm talking about british music here. it's a fact that i've been most receptive to british music during the past year for some reasons. one of the reasons is of course that some british music have this charm which you simply can't resist in any ways. see my top ten from the past 7 days (the numbers behind the names are the number of times the band has been played the past week):

okay okay...the decemberists are not british...but they have a very british sound. period. this song by the dirty pretty things is by the way brilliant!

my newest "discovery" (it's not a discovery in that way as i've known of their existence for around 2 years now through a friend, but as usual i haven't started listening before now...typical me!) is mystery jets. this song below is my new favourite song by them. enjoy!
