all summer i've waited for these days to arrive. to get into the daily round again with the university, the student house, my photographing and so. and i knew it was gonna be busy...but not this busy. there's a million things all the time and i keep losing track. for example today...i forgot to attend a meeting at the student house. that's not like me to do a thing like that. and it scared me a bit 'cause that tells me how busy i've been lately.

it's been very hard to start at the university again. i've started on my so called option which is a completely new subject. design and culture economy. that means a lot of new people i have to get to know somehow (because there's a lot of group work) and that isn't easy as i wasn't a part of the intro days last week where a great deal of the others got plenty of time and chances to get to know each other more or less. so i feel like a completely alien when i enter the class room. it feels like starting all over again. only this time i've got more knowledge to how it is to study at the university + i've got some academic skills that'll help me through some of the stuff we have to go through. so i'm not all helpless. i just need to join a work group somehow...and until then, it's going to be a little harder being me.

actually yesterday on our first day at school, i was in doubt if this had been the right choice of subject. then i remembered "hey...some of the guys in the beatles did art school too...remember?! so you can do it too!" (i do not remember exactly who went to art school...other than stuart sutcliff and maybe even lennon...but whatever!). i'll manage in time...now i have to go to bed so i can get my bachelot project started tomorrow. work work work!
