when things changes your life
2009-01-22 | 12:33 p.m.

a well known of mine made me a mixtape the other day which described me pretty well i think at least if you see the comments he made. it was done in danish, so i'll only bring you the overview of the mixtape here and bring some of the highlights up:

swan lee - tomorrow never dies
bugpowder - bugpowder
tim christensen - screaming at the top of my lungs (live at abbey road studios)
teitur - great balls of fire
bodebrixen - shone
kira & the kindred spirits - save me
- kunsten at efterlade sig et spor
turboweekend - i'm not a dj

one of the absolute highlights of this mixtape, was the observation he'd done relating to the song by bodebrixen. he'd written:
"because this concert changed rikke's taste in music radically - many new bands which she wanted to discuss when she was drunk after a concert with gnags at godset."
i do not remember discussing it. haha. well...only weakly. but he was absolutely right about the....not the change...but the huge extension of my musically horizon. and not only have my view at the music have changed after this...shall i call it fateful night...also my personal life have changed in many ways. i've even got a new close friend as one of the results of that concert. unbelievable how such experiences can change your life in the strangest ways, huh?! the last time that happened, was in september 2001!

another one of the highlight's of that list was the ironic way he'd described my connection to the song by turboweekend:
"because rikke likes turboweekend and i think she wants them to come back and play in the student house. on the same time there is a hint in the song title to my own dj skills as rikke (maybe) sees them - quote: 'yawn! that sounds boring! - we want some more rooooooock!'"
hahaha! no further comments!
