don't you just love it when you fall completely in love with some music ?! when the music finally opens up to you and you just want more and more ?! i experienced that with jarvis cocker yesterday and continued my jarvis-trip today. that man is genius! i'm all hyper right now because of him...hah. i've been so lazy all day and now this?! i should use some of that energy to concentrate on my studies...baaaah.

aaaanyways...back to the lovely jarvis. i told charlotte about a certain line in the song 'i will kill again' shich had completely blown me away because of the way he sings it...so when i took out my vinyl to show her i looked closer and discovered a 7" called 'cunts are still running the world' with this really cool sleeve:

the single is just called 'running the world' on itunes as far as i know...but fuck that. it's a really cool song title and a really great song...of course! so i was thrilled to discover that he's actually recording his second solo album this fall...yay! perfect timing.
